Job Description
The role involves leading Strategy and Operations for Celonis's global sales teams outside of regional core sales, focusing on defining and executing go-to-market strategies, improving sales productivity, and building a high-performance team to support the company's growth in enterprise SaaS process intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Strategy and Operations for outside sales teams to define and evolve the go-to-market (GTM) strategy.
- Establish key metrics, KPIs, and processes to align cross-functional teams and improve GTM productivity.
- Support sales programs that generate pipeline, close deals, and enhance customer delivery.
- Manage day-to-day business performance activities including planning, forecasting, and compensation.
- Engage with regional sales leadership to gather feedback and ensure understanding of organizational roles.
- Build and scale a high-performance, motivated operations team.
- Develop and implement strategies for ecosystem engagement and partner collaboration.
- Support the development of the overall Revenue Operations function to shape future business health.
Requirements
- Proven ability to be a critical and thoughtful business partner, acting as both a challenger and supporter, with experience in strategic collaboration.
- Proven ability to develop, coach, and inspire a highly motivated team of operations professionals, demonstrating leadership and high-performance culture.
- Knowledge of enterprise SaaS selling, including understanding of market positioning within the SaaS industry.
- Knowledge of working with partners and establishing ecosystem-awareness and engagement in a sales team.
- Ability to operate effectively in a global environment, with an understanding of balancing global standardization with localization for impact.
- Experience in setting and defining the strategy for an integrated go-to-market (GTM) approach, including clarity of roles, handoffs, accountabilities, and ratios.
- Experience in laying out plans for evolving GTM strategies as the organization scales.
- Ability to define key metrics, KPIs, and processes that cut across functions to improve team alignment and performance.
- Experience in supporting key programs that help sales functions create pipeline, close business, and deliver value to customers.
- Ability to support day-to-day business operations, including business performance, compensation, planning, and forecasting across pre-sales, post-sales, and ecosystem functions.
- Experience in connecting with sales teams and leadership in various regions to gather feedback and improve GTM productivity and business health.
- Ability to build and scale a team that embodies a high-performance culture with emotional awareness and passion.
