Job Description
The role involves translating and localizing Celonis Academy's online training content into Japanese, ensuring cultural relevance and quality, to expand the company's educational reach in the Japanese market.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate Celonis Academy training materials from English to Japanese.
- Review and post-edit machine-translated training content.
- Perform linguistic quality and functionality checks based on learner feedback.
- Maintain and update language-specific translation tools such as translation memory and glossaries.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and adapt interactive online training content for cultural relevance.
Requirements
- Native-speaker level of proficiency in English and Japanese
- Study in the field of translation, linguistics, communication, or similar
- Ability to work in a structured manner and quickly comprehend new topics and interrelationships
- Experience with translating and reviewing training materials, such as courses, exercises, and exams, from English to Japanese
- Perform linguistic quality and functionality checks based on feedback from learners
- Maintain and update language-specific tools such as translation memory, glossary, and other relevant documentation
- Provide input and feedback for the continuous improvement of translation processes
