Job Description
The Senior Consultant Supply Chain Management leads projects to optimize supply chain processes using Celonis' process mining and AI technologies, translating business needs into technical solutions, and driving digital transformation for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead agile project teams to implement Celonis solutions for supply chain and operational processes
- Translate customer supply chain objectives into high-impact Celonis use cases
- Coordinate with Data Operations teams to connect solutions to customer IT environments
- Perform data modeling, transformations, and process analysis to address supply chain use cases
- Identify inefficiencies in procurement, logistics, production, or inventory processes and uncover root causes
- Develop business cases and define KPIs to measure supply chain performance improvements
- Quantify business and financial potential of process improvements and present findings to stakeholders
- Automate tasks to enhance supply chain resilience and process conformance
- Manage customer expectations and project planning throughout implementation
- Demonstrate and train customer users to enable long-term supply chain transformation
Requirements
- Five years of working experience in IT-Consulting, Solution Data Consulting, or Process Improvement Consulting within Software Vendors, Consulting firms, or System Integrators, ideally with exposure to supply chain or operations domains.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and data models.
- Strong knowledge of data-related languages, specifically SQL; knowledge of other programming languages such as Python is a plus.
- Experience in KPI definition, business case calculations, value realization approaches, and data topics including Big Data, Data Mining, and Process Mining.
- Understanding of supply chain processes such as procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, production planning, logistics, or inventory management, and related financial metrics.
- Knowledge of standard ERPs such as SAP and Oracle is a strong plus.
- Willingness to develop deep expertise on the Celonis solution through continuous learning.
- Strong consulting skills and enjoyment in interacting with customers across supply chain, operations, and IT functions.
- Excellent analytical skills, well-organized, and recognized as a quick learner.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information-oriented Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or a comparable program.
