Job Description
As a Platform Engineer at Celonis, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure across multiple providers, managing Kubernetes clusters and cloud resources, and driving infrastructure initiatives to support the company's process intelligence platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Develop tools to manage hundreds of Kubernetes clusters and millions of cloud resources
- Ensure high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency of platform offerings
- Drive infrastructure initiatives and influence architectural and operational standards
- Set and maintain software engineering standards and mentor engineers
Requirements
- 5 years of professional experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Computing, DevOps, or SRE.
- Real-world experience operating highly available services in Kubernetes.
- Experience with at least one of the following cloud providers: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in Python or Go programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Develop tools that enable managing hundreds of Kubernetes clusters and millions of cloud resources.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency of platform offerings.
- Drive critical infrastructure initiatives and projects, directly influencing the architectural direction and operational excellence of the entire engineering organization.
- Set and maintain software engineering standards, mentor, and coach engineers.
- Experience extending Kubernetes, e.g., writing operators (strong plus).
- Expertise in at least one of the following domains: Observability, Security, or Developer (strong plus).
