Job Description
The Business Development Leader at Celonis is responsible for developing and coaching a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to achieve sales targets, while also enhancing their prospecting skills and preparing them for future roles as Account Executives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and coach a team of BDRs to achieve and exceed targets
- Identify and recruit top candidates for the BDR organization
- Provide on-call coaching to enhance prospecting, outreach, and discovery efforts
- Partner with Sales Leadership to support pipeline generation for the sales team
- Collaborate with marketing on warm engagement from demand generation initiatives
- Lead group trainings, enablement, coaching sessions, and team meetings
- Hold team accountable to achieving and exceeding targets
Requirements
- 5 years in the BDR and AE function or other sales related experience in enterprise business software or management consulting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German (fluent) and English, including high-level communication with internal and external contacts
- Demonstration of leadership in a prior role and the ability to inspire
- Strong business acumen with a thorough understanding of processes and KPIs within Finance and Supply Chain
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- BA/BS degree or similar
