Job Description

The Account Executive will drive new business acquisition within enterprise accounts in the High Tech Manufacturing Semiconductor sector, managing the full sales cycle, building relationships with key stakeholders, and delivering tailored solutions to expand Celonis' market share in North America.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new opportunities within enterprise accounts to secure new logos
  • Manage the entire sales process from prospecting and qualification to closing deals
  • Build relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers
  • Develop tailored solutions based on customer needs and demonstrate value through pitches and demos
  • Collaborate with partners such as consulting firms and SaaS providers to enhance value propositions
  • Leverage team support including business development, pre-sales, and customer success to drive sales success

Requirements

  • Proven SaaS Sales Experience: A strong track record of success in enterprise SaaS sales, with a focus on securing new business and consistently achieving revenue targets.
  • Expertise in Complex Sales: Experience managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles within large enterprise accounts.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with enterprise business applications such as Analytics, Business Intelligence (BI), or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), with the ability to engage with C-level executives such as CFO, COO, CSCO, and CPO.
  • Business Acumen: A solid understanding of business processes and key performance indicators across functions like Finance and Supply Chain.
  • Vertical Industry Experience: Experience or knowledge selling to vertical industries relevant to enterprise accounts.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation and storytelling abilities to confidently influence senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Collaborative Mindset: A team-oriented approach, leveraging internal and external resources to achieve shared goals.
  • Ability to manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to closing six-figure deals.
  • Ability to identify and develop new opportunities within a defined territory, targeting enterprise accounts to secure new logos.
