Job Description
The Visual Designer at Canonical will be responsible for evolving brand guidelines and creating user-centered designs for digital products, ensuring clear and stylish presentations that enhance user experience. This role involves collaboration with a diverse design team and requires a strong understanding of design principles, usability, and accessibility.
Responsibilities
- •Evolve brand guidelines and apply them to communications materials
- •Design UI elements for the design system
- •Create graphic designs for digital products
- •Ensure usability, accessibility, and adherence to web standards in designs
- •Collaborate with design colleagues and other teams
- •Present clear and stylish designs that enhance user experience
Requirements
- •Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university.
- •Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about your alternative chosen path.
- •Agency, company or freelance design experience.
- •Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills.
- •Ability to travel internationally twice a year, for company events up to two weeks long.
