The Silicon Alliances Ecosystem Development Manager at Canonical is responsible for building and managing strategic partnerships with semiconductor companies, developing joint product roadmaps, and driving go-to-market strategies to optimize hardware and software integration across cloud and edge platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Represent Canonical and its solutions to silicon partners
Develop understanding of silicon partner strategies, technologies, and roadmaps to identify overlaps with Canonical products
Collaborate with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams to facilitate new business and define joint products and solutions
Create, track, and execute robust project plans for partnerships and programs
Develop joint go-to-market strategies and manage market messaging, collateral, and launch plans
Negotiate and finalize partnership contracts
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (B.A, B.S, B.E) in science, technology, and/or engineering.
Fundamental understanding of the semiconductor industry and ecosystem.
Experience in software and system architecture is preferred.
Customer-facing experience in business development, technology strategy, or similar functions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to grasp complex material and synthesize key points.
Ability to think and work at both strategic and tactical levels.
Disciplined and self-motivated for a remote-first workplace environment.
