Job Description
A Lead Golang Software Engineer role focused on developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable services in areas such as billing, contracts, and security patches, with opportunities for technical leadership, mentorship, and organizational improvement in a remote, globally distributed team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop engineering solutions leveraging Golang
- Lead technical designs, code reviews, and implementation
- Deploy and operate services developed by the team
- Coach, mentor, and provide career development feedback to colleagues
- Develop and evangelize engineering and organizational practices
Requirements
- Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university or a compelling narrative about your alternative chosen path
- Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or equivalent experience
- Track record of going above-and-beyond expectations to achieve outstanding results
- Experience with software development in Golang
- Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills
- Result-oriented, with a personal drive to meet commitments
- Ability to travel internationally twice a year, for company events up to two weeks long
