Job Description
The software developer will focus on enhancing dqlite, a distributed SQLite database, by designing and implementing features, debugging issues, and engaging with the open source community. This remote position requires experience with distributed systems and C programming, and offers opportunities for learning and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement features across dqlite
- Debug and fix issues encountered by users
- Improve Jepsen tests and automated testing
- Participate in code and architectural review
- Engage with the open source community and commercial partners
Requirements
- Experience with distributed systems, preferably with Raft.
- Good C programming experience.
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency patterns.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM, or a similar degree.
