Job Description
The B2B Event Specialist at Canonical is responsible for developing and executing a long-term event strategy across the APAC region, collaborating with various teams to enhance event effectiveness and manage logistics and budgets for multiple events.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop long-term event strategy and execute events across APAC
- Maintain list of events Canonical should participate in
- Set KPIs to measure event effectiveness and justify spend
- Source deals to maximize visibility and minimize costs
- Provide full logistic support to all events globally
- Manage event budget planning and execution
- Create systems to improve event effectiveness over time
Requirements
- Experience in B2B events organisation including trade shows, customer events, and webinars.
- Excellent academic results, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or STEM.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English.
- Hands-on mindset and a passion for experimentation.
- Proven ability to prioritise and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
