A student intern role involving the design and review of low-voltage technology systems such as telecommunications, security, nurse call, public address, and audiovisual systems, with opportunities to participate in project documentation, site visits, and potentially transition into a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
Design technology systems including telecommunications, security, nurse call, public address, and audiovisual systems according to standards and codes
Assist in preparing construction documents and basic system specifications for projects
Review and markup shop drawing submittals
Visit job sites to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress
Requirements
Enrolled in and working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in computer applications for engineering design programs such as Revit, Navisworks, or similar applications preferred.
