Job Description
A student intern role involving the design and review of low-voltage technology systems such as telecommunications, security, nurse call, public address, and audiovisual systems, with opportunities to participate in project documentation, site visits, and potentially transition into a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Design technology systems including telecommunications, security, nurse call, public address, and audiovisual systems according to standards and codes
- Assist in preparing construction documents and basic system specifications for projects
- Review and markup shop drawing submittals
- Visit job sites to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress
Requirements
- Enrolled in and working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in computer applications for engineering design programs such as Revit, Navisworks, or similar applications preferred.
