Job Description
This position involves contributing to architectural design and production as part of a multi-disciplinary team, coordinating with engineers and consultants, and ensuring project compliance with design intent and codes. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, along with proficiency in relevant software, and offers the potential for transition to a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently contribute design, production, coordination, and architectural detailing.
- Assist in coordination of engineering systems with engineers and consultants.
- Maintain communications with the Owner and Consultants on project status and design intent.
- Prepare design sketches of moderate to complex site plans.
- Communicate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of project documents.
- Evaluate design for code compliance and assist in plan check review and approvals.
- Independently process Requests for Information.
- Perform field site inspections and site visits.
- Coordinate with team members on project assignments.
- Supervise, monitor, train, and direct work of interns and less experienced team members.
- Take a leadership role within the project team and in team meetings.
- Participate in marketing proposals.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture required.
- Minimum 6 years of related professional experience required.
- Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
- Must be a critical thinker.
- Must be highly analytical.
- Must be a fully qualified professional.
- Able to perform work with some degree of latitude and with some ambiguity in work.
- Strong creative design portfolio is essential.
- Strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects.
