Job Description
This position is a senior project management and team leadership role within an architecture and design firm, responsible for overseeing large projects, maintaining client relationships, managing project teams, ensuring quality and compliance, and contributing to business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop client relationships to generate future business opportunities.
- Manage project teams to achieve quality, budget, schedule, and profitability goals.
- Oversee project planning, including work plan, budget, and schedule development and management.
- Manage design and documentation processes during construction.
- Ensure project compliance, risk mitigation, and proper documentation of key decisions.
- Coordinate workload and provide leadership, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
- Implement quality assurance and quality control standards throughout projects.
- Communicate project objectives and progress effectively to clients and team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or a related degree is required.
- Minimum of 12 years of related experience, including managing projects with construction budgets of 70 million dollars or more.
- Experience working on Sports projects is preferred.
- Current Licensure is preferred.
- LEED certification is preferred.
- Capability of performing in a project management role for large or multiple projects and training project managers.
- Strong client leadership and project team management capability for large or multiple projects.
- Must possess strong business acumen.
- Ability to perform as a leader of authority, with expert level knowledge.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technical knowledge, coordination skills, and the ability to build rapport with the project team and client.
- Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, MS Project, Deltek Vision, Bluebeam, and other data management software is required.
