This position involves leading and providing expert guidance on large, complex healthcare architecture projects, including planning, design, client collaboration, and team mentorship, with a focus on innovative, sustainable solutions within the health market.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and serve as subject matter expert on large, complex healthcare projects
Engage and collaborate with project teams, clients, and disciplines to develop technical solutions
Develop, review, and translate planning concepts into architectural drawings and project documentation
Lead user group meetings to gather and refine program needs and assess space utilization
Incorporate sustainable design solutions into projects
Develop project scope, plans, and services during contract negotiations
Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide guidance to team members
Contribute to industry innovation through research, publishing, and presentations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree
Minimum of 12 years of related experience performing as a subject matter expert on projects ranging from large, complex, or multiple projects for the health market
Previous experience performing as a subject matter expert on projects ranging from large, complex, or multiple projects for the health market
Knowledge of building codes and requirements
Must possess advanced knowledge in the discipline
Must have strong business acumen
Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to lead less experienced team members
Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam
Travel required
