Key Responsibilities
Develop and lead high-performance, diverse teams to execute the Market Business Plan.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve market growth targets.
Lead client engagement on billable projects and foster long-term client relationships.
Promote the firm's brand externally and internally through speaking, writing, and other activities.
Develop and implement strategic initiatives and market pursuit strategies.
Create and execute a market business plan to support client engagement, market differentiation, and team growth.
Manage the overall top-line revenue of the market, aiming for a minimum of $3 million in net signed fees annually.
Assess, mentor, and recruit staff to build a high-performing, diverse, and inclusive team.
Collaborate with firm leadership to ensure the successful implementation of business plan initiatives.
Identify market trends and opportunities for growth based on industry knowledge and research.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
Current Registration Licensure in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering is preferred.
Minimum of 12 years of experience with a proven track record of strategic growth, market and team leadership, and business development success in the S T Market.
Strong presentation skills are essential.
Exceptional client and people leadership skills are required.
Professional acumen and maturity demonstrated by the ability to communicate authentically and respectfully are essential.
Strong business acumen and proven ability to create and execute strategy are needed.
Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing, accountable teams.
Must demonstrate sound judgment and a sound approach regarding risk management and mitigation.
Some travel required.
Must be able to develop and lead high-performance diverse teams focused on the development and implementation of the Market Business Plan.
Must be responsible for developing new business opportunities with new and current client partners to achieve top line targets, supporting a minimum 10% growth of the practice year over year.
Must be accountable for the overall top line results of the market with a personal goal of achieving top line success of 3.0 million dollars per year in net signed fees.
Must lead, engage, and partner at the highest levels with clients on billable project-specific work.
Must identify future market trends and opportunities for growth and advancement of the market.
Must collaborate with the Office Practice Leader, Business Practice Leader, and Client Leaders to ensure successful implementation of business plan bottom line initiatives, including achieving a minimum of 10% firm profitability level for the market each year.
Must assess, mentor, coach, and recruit staff to build a high-performance, diverse, and inclusive team, and develop future leaders within the market.
