Job Description
The Simplebid Regional Account Executive is responsible for driving sales and developing new business opportunities within the West region of the United States for Facility Optimization Solutions, LLC. This role involves prospecting, advancing deals through the sales cycle, and achieving regional sales targets while collaborating with various teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify strong sales opportunities in the assigned region.
- Advance deals through the sales cycle to achieve regional sales targets.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Representative to generate a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Prospect new sales through cold calling, email campaigns, and industry conferences.
- Qualify inbound leads and prospects via various communication methods.
- Communicate with clients to gather project information regarding scope, budgets, and timelines.
- Report and record all sales activities in a web-based CRM.
- Work with the Operations team to generate pricing proposals.
- Identify and implement effective sales strategies and negotiation tactics.
- Communicate new RFX opportunities to the RFX Management Team.
- Conduct market research and analysis to assess competitive positioning.
- Ensure accurate pipeline analysis and forecasting reports.
- Achieve quota attainment as outlined by the Sales Organization.
- Collaborate with Construction Account Managers to ensure customer service excellence.
- Assist in developing internal sales processes and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of related Sales experience required, preferably in the Construction space.
- Travel required within assigned territory up to 50%.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other CRM solutions required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting to senior management.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience with public procurement policies and practices.
- Experience with master service type contracts.
- Public Speaking experience.
- Familiarity with Cooperative Purchasing Organization's impact in public procurement.
- Familiarity with Contract Compliance or Multiple Funding Source Contracts.
- Familiarity with IFB, RFP, RFQ, ITB, DB, DBB Bidding Types, Informal Bidding, Request for Proposals, Request for Quote, Design Build, Design Bid Build.
- Track record of winning in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
- Highly organized, have multi-tasking skills, and confident in ambiguous situations.
