This position involves providing project management support to a leadership team within a project management office, focusing on client relations, project planning, coordination, risk management, team leadership, and ensuring quality and contractual compliance in architectural or engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in leading, developing, and maintaining positive client relationships throughout project lifecycle
Communicate design, construction, and project issues clearly to clients and team members
Develop and manage project work plans, budgets, and schedules using tools like MS Project and Deltek
Manage design and documentation processes during construction
Ensure project compliance, risk mitigation, and quality assurance standards are met
Coordinate and lead project team activities, providing mentorship and fostering a positive team environment
Monitor technical quality and enforce QA/QC standards across projects
Participate in technical aspects of projects and coordinate disciplines to ensure design intent
Support business development efforts and participate in contract negotiations
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or a relevant field is required.
Minimum 6 years of related experience required.
Current licensure or registration in the United States preferred.
LEED accreditation is preferred.
Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must possess business acumen.
Must be a critical thinker.
Must be highly analytical.
Strong technical knowledge, coordination skills and the ability to build a rapport with and lead the project team and client is essential.
Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work under minimal supervision.
Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, MS Project, Deltek Vision, Bluebeam as well as other data management software is required.
