Job Description

This position involves providing project management support to a leadership team within a project management office, focusing on client relations, project planning, coordination, risk management, team leadership, and ensuring quality and contractual compliance in architectural or engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in leading, developing, and maintaining positive client relationships throughout project lifecycle
  • Communicate design, construction, and project issues clearly to clients and team members
  • Develop and manage project work plans, budgets, and schedules using tools like MS Project and Deltek
  • Manage design and documentation processes during construction
  • Ensure project compliance, risk mitigation, and quality assurance standards are met
  • Coordinate and lead project team activities, providing mentorship and fostering a positive team environment
  • Monitor technical quality and enforce QA/QC standards across projects
  • Participate in technical aspects of projects and coordinate disciplines to ensure design intent
  • Support business development efforts and participate in contract negotiations

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum 6 years of related experience required.
  • Current licensure or registration in the United States preferred.
  • LEED accreditation is preferred.
  • Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must possess business acumen.
  • Must be a critical thinker.
  • Must be highly analytical.
  • Strong technical knowledge, coordination skills and the ability to build a rapport with and lead the project team and client is essential.
  • Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work under minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, MS Project, Deltek Vision, Bluebeam as well as other data management software is required.
