The Project Coordinator Intern supports project management activities by coordinating schedules, preparing meeting materials, tracking progress, and maintaining communication with team members and clients, with opportunities to develop skills and potentially transition into a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate standard projects and manage assignments effectively
Update project schedules, timelines, and dashboards
Prepare meeting materials and distribute them as appropriate
Provide logistics support for meetings, including scheduling and documenting minutes
Implement closed-loop communication to ensure effective project communication
Document notes, action items, and decisions from meetings
Complete project deliverables adhering to quality standards and scope
Submit project updates and coordinate status reports for team calls
Maintain positive relationships with clients and project team members
Ensure projects follow standard processes and utilize appropriate tools and templates
Develop tools for use with Yellow Brick projects
Requirements
Currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and May 2027.
Experience in the industry is preferred.
Competent in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Smartsheet.
Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Skilled in working effectively in teams with various disciplines and backgrounds.
Able to communicate effectively and professionally, both in oral and written communications.
Able to manage uncomfortable situations with sensitivity and professionalism.
Comfortable delivering difficult messages, initiating conversations, and receptive to feedback.
Able to prioritize job duties, assignments, and deliverables in a fast-paced work environment.
Able to plan, organize, prioritize, and work independently to meet deadlines.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for up to 90% of the workday.
Must be able to move around an office or job site.
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
