Job Description
The Project Coordinator Intern supports project management activities by coordinating schedules, preparing meeting materials, tracking progress, and maintaining communication with team members and clients, with opportunities for growth into a full-time role in healthcare consulting project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities and manage assignments effectively
- Update project schedules, timelines, and dashboards
- Prepare and distribute meeting materials and documentation
- Provide logistics support for meetings and communication with team and clients
- Document meeting notes, action items, and decisions
- Complete and ensure quality of project deliverables within scope
- Track project progress and prepare status reports
- Maintain positive relationships with clients
- Ensure adherence to company processes, tools, and templates
- Develop tools and resources for project use
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and May 2027.
- Experience in the industry preferred.
- Competent in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Smartsheet.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Skilled in working effectively in teams with various disciplines and backgrounds.
- Communicates effectively and professionally, both in oral and written communications.
- Manages uncomfortable situations with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Comfortable delivering difficult messages, initiating conversations, and receptive to feedback.
- Prioritizes job duties, assignments, and deliverables in a fast-paced work environment.
- Plans, organizes, prioritizes, and works independently to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for up to 90% of the workday.
- Must be able to move around an office or job site.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
