Job Description
This role is a Project Architect responsible for leading the technical development, coordination, and management of large, complex architectural projects, ensuring design integrity, compliance, and quality from conception through construction administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of technical content and ensure compliance for large, complex projects.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to align design intent with project goals and client requirements.
- Oversee the translation of design concepts into technical documentation throughout all project phases.
- Ensure building performance, sustainability, and code compliance are integrated into the design.
- Lead construction administration activities, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.
- Mentor and supervise project team members to maintain technical quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 10 years of related professional experience
- At least 5 years of experience in increasingly responsible roles in construction documentation on institutional and/or commercial projects
- At least 3 years of experience in a responsible role in construction administration on large institutional or commercial projects
- Previous experience on large, complex projects
- Current Architectural Registration in the United States
- Knowledge of building codes and requirements
- Demonstrated focus on quality
- Must possess business acumen
- Strong client leadership skills
- Strong technical leadership skills for production team
- Capability to lead and mentor less experienced staff
- Advanced knowledge in architectural discipline
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and construction management software

Salary range of $108,598 to $136,223 annually, with potential for discretionary bonuses
