Job Description
The Jr. Graphic Designer supports the creative team by developing a variety of graphic assets and concepts across multiple media, helping to communicate the firm's value through strategic and innovative design while collaborating closely with senior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing a wide range of graphic assets including infographics, identity systems, brochures, event collateral, proposals, social media campaigns, animations, and pitch decks.
- Execute design concepts across all media from strategy to final design, ensuring creative storytelling.
- Support senior team members on larger, complex projects with tight deadlines.
- Research and explore compelling ways to communicate messages and incorporate best practices.
- Participate in team critiques and communicate the concepts behind design work.
- Develop a deep knowledge of the firm's project portfolio, personnel, and thought leadership.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards and meeting deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a graphic design position; experience in the AE (Architecture/Engineering) field is a plus but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
- Strong graphic design portfolio showing a balance of brand collateral and editorial design.
- Experience working in a team setting.
- Compelling storytelling style, in both written and visual applications.
- Willingness to travel in support of remote projects and teams.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office 360 Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines and quality standards.
