Job Description
This role involves leading healthcare architecture projects as a subject matter expert, providing technical expertise, guiding design development, and collaborating with clients and project teams to deliver innovative, sustainable, and high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead healthcare projects as a subject matter expert, providing technical expertise and team leadership.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop programming, planning, and architectural drawings.
- Lead user group meetings to gather and refine program needs and assess space utilization.
- Communicate planning concepts to clients, designers, and project teams through reports and presentations.
- Develop, modify, and review planning concepts and solutions for projects.
- Translate planning concepts into project documentation for construction, including drawings and specifications.
- Develop project scope, plans, and services during the contract process.
- Incorporate sustainable design solutions into projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide guidance to team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience
- Previous experience performing as a subject matter expert on projects ranging from large, complex, or multiple projects for the healthcare market
- Knowledge of building codes and requirements
- Must have advanced knowledge in the discipline
- Must possess business acumen
- Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to lead less experienced team members
- Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam
