This role involves leading healthcare architecture projects as a subject matter expert, providing technical expertise, guiding design development, and collaborating with clients and project teams to deliver innovative, sustainable, and high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead healthcare projects as a subject matter expert, providing technical expertise and team leadership.
Collaborate with project teams to develop programming, planning, and architectural drawings.
Lead user group meetings to gather and refine program needs and assess space utilization.
Communicate planning concepts to clients, designers, and project teams through reports and presentations.
Develop, modify, and review planning concepts and solutions for projects.
Translate planning concepts into project documentation for construction, including drawings and specifications.
Develop project scope, plans, and services during the contract process.
Incorporate sustainable design solutions into projects.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide guidance to team members.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree
Minimum of 10 years of related experience
Previous experience performing as a subject matter expert on projects ranging from large, complex, or multiple projects for the healthcare market
Knowledge of building codes and requirements
Must have advanced knowledge in the discipline
Must possess business acumen
Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to lead less experienced team members
Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam
