Job Description
The Educational System Planner will support district master planning and strategic consulting assignments in the K-12 education sector, utilizing expertise in education pedagogy, operational modeling, and facility design. The role involves collaborating with project teams and clients to develop planning concepts and deliverables while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Support district master planning and strategic consulting assignments.
- Develop, modify, and review planning concepts and solutions.
- Engage stakeholders in master planning processes.
- Produce planning tools, technical content, and deliverables.
- Maintain relationships with project teams and clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Education Administration, Urban Planning, GIS, Data Science, Architecture, Engineering, Construction or other related degree.
- Minimum 6 years of related experience in district portfolio planning, facility condition and adequacy assessments.
- Ability to work client-facing with strong verbal and written communication skills, and proven ability to build a rapport with the project team and clients.
- Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work.
- Familiarity with advanced data analytics and GIS tools such as Tableau, Power BI, ArchGIS required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam required.
- Travel required at times with short notice.
