Job Description
This role involves contributing to architectural design projects through conceptualization, visualization, client presentations, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, with a focus on innovative and holistic design solutions supported by technical proficiency and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to conceptual and full architectural design support throughout projects.
- Incorporate business and communication objectives into strategic design solutions.
- Participate in client meetings and present design ideas effectively.
- Prepare client presentation materials, including 2D and 3D visualizations.
- Design projects to meet budget and owner requirements.
- Collaborate closely with interior designers and subject matter experts on holistic design solutions.
- Identify, communicate, and resolve project-related issues proactively.
- Mentor junior team members and support a collaborative, innovative work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture or related field required.
- Minimum 6 years of related professional experience required.
- Strong creative design portfolio is essential.
- Proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
- Experience with one or more real-time rendering and 3D rendering software such as Enscape, Twinmotion, and/or V-Ray required, as demonstrated through a portfolio of past and current visualization work.
- Ability to independently and collaboratively contribute conceptual design and provide full architectural design support throughout projects.
- Ability to incorporate business and communication objectives in strategic design solutions.
- Ability to participate in client meetings and effectively present selective design ideas as directed to clients.
- Ability to prepare client presentation materials, particularly 2D and 3D design visualizations, to convey the design in a compelling and sophisticated manner.
- Ability to design projects to meet internal and external project requirements, including budget and other owner parameters.
- Strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Experience with computational design tools such as Grasshopper and Dynamo preferred.
- Some experience in site visits, overtime work, and travel as appropriate.
