Job Description
This role involves contributing to architectural design and detailing as part of a multi-disciplinary team, utilizing software like Revit and Adobe Creative Suite, while collaborating with project leadership and other disciplines to ensure project coordination and successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to design, selection, coordination, and architectural detailing as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Prepare and contribute to design and presentation efforts using design software.
- Develop and manage the REVIT model to produce architectural plans, elevations, and sections.
- Produce REVIT section and plan details within all architectural phases.
- Prepare preliminary design sketches of small to moderate-sized site plans.
- Communicate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of project documents.
- Assist in the development of design and concept drawings.
- Coordinate engineering systems with engineers.
- Review shop drawing submittals with guidance from the Project Architect.
- Attend field site inspections and project team meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Architecture OR non-professional Bachelor degree within a school offering a NAAB accredited program required.
- Minimum 4 years of related professional experience required.
- Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
- Must be able to participate in the development of projects technical or design characteristics and content.
- Strong creative design portfolio is essential.
- Strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, and organizational skills required.
- Ability to handle multiple projects required.
