Job Description

This role involves contributing to architectural design and detailing as part of a multi-disciplinary team, utilizing software like Revit and Adobe Creative Suite, while collaborating with project leadership and other disciplines to ensure project coordination and successful delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to design, selection, coordination, and architectural detailing as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Prepare and contribute to design and presentation efforts using design software.
  • Develop and manage the REVIT model to produce architectural plans, elevations, and sections.
  • Produce REVIT section and plan details within all architectural phases.
  • Prepare preliminary design sketches of small to moderate-sized site plans.
  • Communicate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of project documents.
  • Assist in the development of design and concept drawings.
  • Coordinate engineering systems with engineers.
  • Review shop drawing submittals with guidance from the Project Architect.
  • Attend field site inspections and project team meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Architecture OR non-professional Bachelor degree within a school offering a NAAB accredited program required.
  • Minimum 4 years of related professional experience required.
  • Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
  • Must be able to participate in the development of projects technical or design characteristics and content.
  • Strong creative design portfolio is essential.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, and organizational skills required.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects required.
