Job Description

The Culture and Change Consultant is responsible for developing and delivering innovative, human-centered design solutions to support organizations undergoing major transformations. This role involves identifying consulting opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and providing project leadership to drive impactful change management and culture transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop actionable plans for clients focused on human-centered design solutions.
  • Source and pursue strategic consulting opportunities across various markets.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients and internal partners.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and utilize visual storytelling to inform research and solutions.
  • Create client-facing intuitive solutions, including dashboards and reports.
  • Provide strong project leadership to exceed client expectations on multiple engagements.
  • Elevate the firm through thought leadership content and presentations.
  • Support business development efforts and contribute to integrated project work.
  • Achieve financial targets including net-signed fees and project profitability.
  • Model living-centered design ethos and competencies.

Requirements

  • 15 years of experience in consulting and leadership in culture transformations across technology, start-ups, social enterprises, non-profits, and government agencies.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Deep expertise in strategy, innovation, and implementation of change and culture services in large-scale transformation programs and experience with change management related to physical facility transitions.
  • Ability to manage the political nature of high-investment projects.
  • Extensive experience presenting to clients, industry conferences, and internal leadership.
  • Business Development experience and proven ability to leverage a broad professional network of individuals that will help communicate our value and grow our brand and revenue.
  • Secure individually, a minimum net-signed fee of 250K of Blue Cottage net signed fee per year.
  • Contribute to 10 Year-over-Year growth of Blue Cottage.
  • Achieve minimum 15% profitability on projects you lead or in which you participate.
  • Achieve a billable utilization target of 65% or more or generating equivalent value in new business and projects.
  • Embrace and model living centered design ethos and competencies.
  • Complete mandatory training, including compliance training, within required timeframes and adhere to internal policies and the Code of Conduct.
