Job Description

This role focuses on business development activities to drive growth for the firm, including identifying new client opportunities, supporting marketing strategies, and collaborating with leadership to enhance client engagement and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and support for business development opportunities to achieve top line targets.
  • Identify new clients and project opportunities totaling 3.0M in net fee per year.
  • Oversee a pipeline of qualified opportunities that exceeds three times the annual net signed fee.
  • Collaborate with various leaders to advance networking and pursuit strategies.
  • Develop and implement best practices for client pursuit and retention strategies.
  • Lead and support business development activities and identify new potential client leads.
  • Participate in the annual business planning process and manage the marketing budget.
  • Develop and advance internal and external networks within core markets.
  • Lead client engagement meetings to advance marketing and business development activities.
  • Maintain active watch on pipeline and drive Salesforce use for performance assessment.
  • Provide strategic input in client engagement processes, including proposals and interviews.
  • Strengthen the firm's brand in the marketplace and promote Living-Centered Design.
  • Mentor Client Leaders and Emerging Client Leaders in marketing and business development.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of related work experience in marketing business development roles required.
  • Proven experience in the development and implementation of marketing business plans.
  • Proven track record of the ability to develop significant relationships that increase our opportunity pipeline is essential.
  • Business acumen and ability to develop, influence and execute strategy is required.
  • Strong ability to communicate authentically and respectfully required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PPT required.
  • Experience with CRM Platforms, such as Salesforce, is required.
  • Some travel required.
