Job Description

At CS Power Systems, we're on a mission to transform lives by delivering clean, solar-powered electricity to millions worldwide—and we're just getting started.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing & Operational Compliance
  • Partner with plant leadership to implement and monitor compliance controls across production, maintenance, procurement, and warehouse operations.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable U.S. regulatory requirements (federal, state, and local), including operational permits and reporting obligations.
  • Support regulatory inspections and internal audits.
  • Maintain required documentation and records in alignment with regulatory and company standards.
  • Identify operational compliance risks and drive corrective actions with site teams.
  • Trade & Supply Chain Compliance
  • Serve as the primary liaison between U.S. manufacturing operations and the Corporate Trade Compliance team, ensuring alignment with enterprise trade compliance policies and escalation of potential risks. Collaborate on high-risk transactions, regulatory inquiries, and interpretation of trade requirements impacting plant operations.
  • Support compliance with U.S. import/export regulations.
  • Third-Party & Vendor Compliance
  • Oversee risk-based due diligence on U.S.-based and international suppliers, contractors, and service providers supporting manufacturing operations.
  • Support vendor onboarding and ongoing monitoring processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of third-party risk assessments and approvals.
  • Audits, Monitoring & Reporting
  • Support internal compliance audits, site self-assessments, and external regulatory reviews.
  • Track remediation of audit findings and ensure timely closure.
  • Develop and maintain compliance metrics, dashboards, and reporting for plant leadership and corporate stakeholders.
  • Assist in internal investigations related to potential compliance issues.
  • Training & Policy Implementation
  • Deliver practical, U.S.-focused compliance training to plant personnel, supervisors, and functional teams.
  • Support implementation and localization of corporate compliance policies at the site level.
  • Provide day-to-day compliance guidance to operations teams.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Serve as the primary liaison between U.S. manufacturing sites and Corporate Compliance.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, EHS, Finance, and HR to ensure consistent compliance practices.
  • Support alignment between corporate standards and U.S. regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, law, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in compliance, regulatory, or risk management roles within a U.S. manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. regulatory frameworks impacting manufacturing and supply chains (e.g., import/export controls, regulatory inspections, and operational compliance).
  • Experience with trade compliance, sanctions screening, or third-party risk management preferred.
  • Familiarity with solar, energy, or advanced manufacturing environments is a plus.
  • ACAMS (CAMS), CCEP, or similar compliance/risk certification preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational processes.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
  • Strong communication skills with experience interacting with plant personnel and corporate stakeholders.
