Job Description
This position involves assisting with drilling operations, handling equipment, and performing physical labor outdoors, with opportunities for training and career growth in renewable energy and drilling technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with drilling procedures and platform operations
- Handle drill pipe, casing, and auxiliary equipment
- Mix drilling mud and grout
- Demobilize equipment and load/unload materials
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment safely
- Perform maintenance and keep equipment and worksite clean
- Conduct inventory stock intake and manage supplies
- Drive company vehicles to and from job sites
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, hauling, and digging
- Follow safety and quality regulations and instructions
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely.
- Ability to safely lift weights of 50 pounds overhead.
- Must have an OSHA 30 SST Card, CPR, First Aid, Rigging, and Flagger certification (strongly preferred).
- Own reliable vehicle and valid driver s license with the ability to obtain CDL.
- Ability to travel to various locations as required by the job, including being willing to be away from home Monday through Friday with scheduled Saturdays, in the greater Northeast Region of the United States (CT, MA, NY, ME, VT, NH, NJ).
- Must be able to obtain coverage under company automobile insurance policy and have a clean driving record (certain age restrictions may apply).
- Willingness to get hands dirty and engage in constant physical labor.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as hauling, lifting 60-80 lbs., moving, loading, and digging materials and equipment.
- Must be able to stand and bend for extended periods of time.
- Comfortability working outdoors in all elements.
- Ability to perform inventory stock intake as required.
- Ability to assist with loading and unloading of equipment and material.
- Ability to assist with demobilization of equipment and drilling procedures on the drilling platform.
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks at specified intervals.
- Willingness to build a career in drilling and renewable energy.
- Ability to follow all safety and quality regulations and instructions.
- Must be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily, including physical and safety requirements.
- Pre-employment background check including prior employment verification, criminal history check, and drug screen is required.
- In accordance with DOT regulations 49 CFR 40.25, must provide prior drug and alcohol testing records for safety-sensitive duties; refusal to provide records will disqualify the applicant.

Hourly wage range of $34.50 to $37.00 with eligibility for overtime pay
Work schedule of at least 40 hours per week, with potential for additional hours
