• Installation of Solar Panels : Execute the assembly and mounting of solar panels on various structures, ensuring optimal placement for maximum energy capture and efficiency.
• Electrical Wiring and Connection : Connect solar panels to electrical systems, including inverters, batteries, and grid interconnection points. Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety standards.
• System Testing and Commissioning : Conduct thorough testing of solar energy systems to verify proper functionality and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during installation or commissioning.
• Maintenance and Repairs : Perform routine maintenance tasks on solar panels and associated equipment, such as cleaning, inspection, and system optimization. Diagnose and repair faults or malfunctions to restore system efficiency.
• 3+ years of hands-on electrical experience
• Proficiency in electrical wiring, circuitry, and systems installation, with a strong understanding of AC and DC electrical principles.
• Familiarity with solar photovoltaic (PV) technology, including panel types, mounting methods, and system components.
• Valid driver’s license required
• Hourly pay of $22-30/hr depending on experience
