A Roofing Sales Representative is responsible for selling residential roofing services, building customer relationships, and contributing to the growth of a family-owned roofing company through effective sales and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and engage potential customers to generate sales opportunities
Present roofing products and services to homeowners
Provide accurate estimates and proposals for roofing projects
Follow up with leads and maintain customer relationships
Coordinate with the installation team to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements
Must have the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with homeowners, customers, and team members.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications related to roofing or sales are preferred.
Must have prior experience in sales, preferably in residential roofing or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Must be willing to learn and participate in training programs provided by the company.
Must be able to work in a physically active environment, including climbing ladders, working at heights, and lifting materials as required.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
Must demonstrate a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
Must be committed to providing excellent customer service and maintaining the company's standards of respect for homeowners and their property.
