- Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety protocols
- Strong leadership and communication skills to oversee team members and interact with homeowners
- Certification or training in roofing safety and installation practices (implying trained and certified crew members)
- Physical ability to oversee roofing work, which may include climbing, lifting, and working at heights
- Proven track record of ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines
- Experience in a supervisory role within the roofing or construction industry
