Job Description

A Commercial Roofing Estimator is responsible for assessing roofing projects, preparing cost estimates, and supporting the sales process to ensure accurate pricing and successful project execution within a reputable roofing company.

Key Responsibilities

Estimate commercial roofing projects by assessing scope and costs
Prepare and present detailed roofing proposals to clients
Collaborate with sales and project teams to ensure accurate project planning

Requirements

Must have experience in commercial roofing estimating or a related field, with a clear understanding of roofing materials, costs, and project scope.
Must possess strong skills in reading and interpreting architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications relevant to roofing projects.
Must have the ability to accurately prepare and deliver detailed roofing estimates, including material, labor, and other associated costs.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in roofing estimating or a similar role in the construction or roofing industry.
Must demonstrate proficiency in using estimating software and tools relevant to commercial roofing projects.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in construction or roofing is preferred.
Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members to gather information and present estimates.
Must be physically capable of visiting job sites, inspecting roofs, and performing related tasks as required by the role.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, as travel to various job sites may be required.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
