Job Description
The Area Sales Manager will lead and coach the sales team in the Sarasota market, oversee recruiting and training of sales professionals, and help achieve sales goals through strategic guidance and customer service in the roofing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance to sales representatives in the Sarasota market
- Recruit, train, and onboard sales professionals within the territory
- Ensure sales goals are achieved and exceeded through effective leadership and collaboration
- Assist in generating sales and developing customer relationships
- Travel to other markets to support sales staff needs
Requirements
- Experience in providing leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance to sales teams or sales representatives.
- Experience in recruiting, training, and onboarding sales professionals within a territory or market.
- Ability to lead through influence with a sales team reporting directly to a General Manager or similar authority.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to learn about the roofing industry.
- Interest in the roofing industry.
