Job Description
The Area Sales Manager leads and coaches the sales team within a specific territory, focusing on recruiting, training, and exceeding sales goals in the roofing industry while providing excellent customer service and supporting company growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance to sales representatives in the territory
- Recruit, train, and onboard sales professionals within the territory
- Ensure sales goals are achieved and exceeded through effective leadership and collaboration
- Assist in generating sales and developing customer relationships
- Travel to other markets to support sales staff needs
Requirements
- Experience in sales leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance to sales teams, preferably within the roofing or related industry.
- Ability to recruit, train, and onboard sales professionals within the assigned territory.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals through effective leadership, accountability, and collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills to lead through influence and provide top-level customer service.
- Willingness to learn about the roofing industry and generate sales opportunities.
- Ability to travel to other markets as needed to support sales staff and generate sales.
- Interest in the roofing industry and a willingness to develop knowledge about roofing products and services.
