Job Description
The Area Sales Manager leads and coaches the sales team within a specific territory, focusing on recruiting, training, and achieving sales goals in the roofing industry while providing excellent customer service and strategic guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance to sales representatives in the territory
- Recruit, train, and onboard sales professionals within the territory
- Ensure the sales team achieves and exceeds sales goals through effective leadership and collaboration
- Assist in generating sales and developing customer relationships
- Travel to other markets to support sales staff needs
Requirements
- Experience in providing leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance to sales teams or sales representatives.
- Experience in recruiting, training, and onboarding sales professionals within a territory or market.
- Ability to lead through influence and collaborate effectively with a sales team reporting directly to a Market General Manager.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to learn about the roofing industry.
- Interest in the roofing industry.
