Job Description
An Area Sales Manager responsible for leading and coaching sales representatives in the Fort Wayne market, recruiting and training new sales staff, driving sales growth, and providing excellent customer service within the roofing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance to sales representatives in the territory
- Recruit, train, and onboard new sales professionals within the territory
- Ensure sales team achieves and exceeds sales goals through effective leadership and collaboration
- Assist in generating sales and developing customer relationships
- Travel to other markets to support or expand sales efforts
Requirements
- Experience in providing leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance to sales teams or sales representatives.
- Experience in recruiting, training, and onboarding sales professionals within a territory or market.
- Ability to lead through influence and collaborate effectively with a sales team reporting directly to a Market General Manager.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to learn about the roofing industry.
- Interest in the roofing industry.
