Job Description
The Area Sales Manager leads and coaches the sales team within a specific territory, focusing on recruiting, training, and exceeding sales goals in the roofing industry while providing excellent customer service and strategic guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance to sales representatives in the Sarasota market
- Recruit, train, and onboard sales professionals within the territory
- Ensure the territory achieves and exceeds sales goals through leadership and collaboration
- Assist in generating sales and developing customer relationships
- Travel to other markets to support sales staff and business growth
Requirements
- Experience in leading, coaching, and providing strategic guidance to sales teams or sales representatives.
- Ability to recruit, train, and onboard sales professionals within the assigned territory.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals through effective leadership, accountability, and collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills necessary for leading through influence and providing top-level customer service.
- Willingness to learn about the roofing industry.
- Ability to assist in generating sales within the roofing industry.
- Willingness and ability to travel to other markets as needed to support sales staff.
- Interest in the roofing industry.
