Job Description
The Engineering Manager is responsible for project design, managing scope, budget, and schedule, and developing strategic plans for project development. This role involves coordinating tasks, reporting on project progress, and maintaining relationships with stakeholders while working remotely and traveling as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for project design and concept estimates
- Manage scope, budget, and schedule within approved parameters
- Provide structured and detailed reports to Management
- Coordinate project design and support from concept to construction
- Maintain schedule of design elements
- Manage project reporting and component specifications
- Prepare permit support documentation
- Manage relationships with external customers, vendors, local authorities, and regulatory agencies
- Interact with key internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Accountable for project design, concept estimates, team performance and developing strategic plans to develop projects.
- Obtain, clarify, and manage scope, budget and schedule within approved parameters.
- Provide structured and detailed reports to Management.
- Perform project design and support from concept to construction.
- Maintain schedule of design elements.
- Coordinate tasks and project reporting.
- Develop component specifications and permit support documentation.
- Manage relationships with external customers, vendors, local authorities and regulatory agencies.
- Interact routinely with key internal and external stakeholders including senior management, governmental and regulatory officials.
- Ability to travel to support project development efforts.
