Job Description
The Plant Operator is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the Anaerobic Digestion and Wastewater plant at the Maryland Bioenergy Center, which processes food waste to produce biomethane and organic fertilizer.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the Anaerobic Digestion and Wastewater treatment plants
- Monitor process control and ensure efficient operations
- Perform hands-on maintenance of plant equipment
Requirements
- Hands-on knowledge of process control, operations, and maintenance in an Anaerobic Digestion and Wastewater Plant.
- Experience as an AD WW Plant Operator.
- Mobility to stand, sit, walk, stoop, twist, bend, climb ladders, crawl, balance, kneel, crouch, reach overhead, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
