Job Description
The Land Acquisition Analyst will support the senior land acquisition and asset management team by organizing project portfolios, tracking payments, conducting site analysis, and assisting with real estate agreements for large-scale solar projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and generate payment spreadsheets and databases for real estate agreements.
- Ensure project files and databases are organized and up to date.
- Assist in due diligence tracking and project status reporting.
- Conduct site analysis including investigation of landowner contact information and land development criteria.
- Review, resolve, and report title matters to support project financing.
- Coordinate efforts among landowners, attorneys, surveyors, utilities, and title companies.
- Assist with negotiation and execution of purchase and lease agreements and other related documents.
- Maintain various spreadsheets and documents related to project development.
- Support special projects and reporting for other functional groups within the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of real estate or energy development experience.
- Highly proficient in MS Office Suite, including MS Excel and MS Word.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Basic understanding of real estate development.
- Ability to read and understand real estate contracts.
- Resourcefulness, a meticulous eye to detail, and investigative skills are essential.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with ability to read and analyze large amounts of project data.
- Self-motivated, possesses eagerness to learn and take initiative.
- Passion for green energy and responsible development.
