Job Description
The Staff Engineer Architect, Enterprise AI Solutions at Aurora is responsible for evaluating, designing, and implementing scalable AI-driven solutions across the enterprise, collaborating with various business units to improve productivity, automation, and AI governance within a safety-focused autonomous technology company.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate emerging AI platforms, frameworks, and enterprise solutions to recommend suitable technologies.
- Develop selection criteria and proof-of-concepts to validate AI tools before enterprise deployment.
- Architect, design, develop, and integrate scalable AI-powered solutions with existing enterprise systems.
- Build reusable components and automation workflows ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and translate requirements into AI solutions.
- Establish best practices for responsible AI usage, governance frameworks, and architectural standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert to drive adoption of enterprise AI capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in IT, software engineering, or solutions architecture in delivering complex, large-scale commercial applications or platform services.
- Experience in implementing AI ML technologies, AI agentic workflows, automation platforms, and workflow orchestration tools across Enterprise Applications.
- Experience with AI ML platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Bedrock, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with non-engineering stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience in evaluating emerging AI platforms, frameworks, and enterprise solutions to recommend fit-for-purpose technologies.
- Ability to develop selection criteria and proof-of-concepts to validate AI tools before enterprise-wide rollout.
- Experience in architecting, designing, developing, and integrating scalable AI-powered technology solutions with existing enterprise application platforms and workflows.
- Experience in building reusable components and automation workflows while ensuring scalability, security, and compliance in deployed AI solutions.
- Experience partnering with business stakeholders from departments such as Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, and Commercial Operations to identify automation opportunities and translate requirements into AI-driven solutions.
- Ability to define and establish best practices for responsible AI usage within the enterprise, including AI governance frameworks and architectural standards for integrations.
- Experience acting as a subject matter expert for enterprise AI capabilities and driving adoption.
