Job Description
The role involves managing the development and integration of self-driving vehicle technology within a trucking fleet, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design software solutions, and coordinating with hardware and service partners to ensure vehicle maintenance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hardware, software, and strategy teams to troubleshoot and maintain autonomous vehicles at scale
- Coordinate with manufacturing partners, OEMs, and service providers to understand requirements and support maintenance activities
- Develop understanding of integrating self-driving technology into trucking fleet operations
- Define product vision and roadmap, prioritizing features that maximize value and align with business goals
- Translate product usage data and user feedback into actionable requirements for iterative improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop user-friendly software solutions
- Manage stakeholder relationships, balancing priorities and timelines
- Stay informed on trends in self-driving technology, fleet management, and logistics industry advancements
Requirements
- Seven (7) years of experience in software product management, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing commercially successful software products.
- Solid technical aptitude with the ability to understand technical designs, software development lifecycle, challenges, and risks.
- High level of comfort working in ambiguity, with the ability to define the unknown, create structure, and manage change.
- Solid leadership experience with cross-functional teams in service of a large workstream.
- Experience collaborating with Design, Engineering, and Data teams to bring product requirements and user experiences to life while maximizing ROI.
- Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences in both written and verbal communication.
- Passion for self-driving technology and its potential to revolutionize the transportation industry.
