Job Description
The Senior Business Analyst will analyze large datasets, develop dashboards, and provide data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency and system performance within Aurora's Mapping Operations team, supporting decision-making across cross-functional teams in the autonomous vehicle industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor operational health and system performance
- Translate analytical findings into actionable insights and recommendations for leadership and domain owners
- Partner with domain owners to evaluate the impact of process and system changes through data analysis and experimentation
- Identify root causes of operational inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions
- Build scalable reporting pipelines to support recurring operational review and decision-making
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure database structure and data availability support performance tracking
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in business analytics or data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working with large datasets.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Mode, Looker, Tableau, etc.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Operations, Program Management, and Engineering teams.
- Experience analyzing large datasets to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Experience developing dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide clear visibility into operational health and system performance.
- Experience translating analytical findings into actionable recommendations for leadership and domain owners.
- Experience partnering with domain owners to evaluate the impact of process and system changes through data analysis and experimentation.
- Experience identifying root causes of operational inefficiencies and proposing data-driven solutions.
- Experience building scalable reporting pipelines to support recurring operational review and decision-making.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: 111,000 - 178,000 USD per year
