Job Description
The Technology Specialist at Atwell, LLC is responsible for providing end-user technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing IT assets, and supporting various applications and devices across the company to ensure smooth IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-user technical support via in person, phone, and electronic communication
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and account issues for users
- Install and configure software applications and standard company software
- Set up and deploy workstations, servers, networks, printers, and mobile devices
- Manage and support Autodesk applications and other technical tools
- Log support tasks and follow company support procedures
- Manage inventory of IT assets including workstations, laptops, and mobile devices
- Stay current with system updates, changes, and information
- Lead projects and teams related to IT support and deployment
Requirements
- Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, phone electronically.
- Troubleshoot all technical-related user issues, including hardware, software, and account issues.
- Install various software applications as needed and approved.
- Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Follow all company support procedures.
- Log all support-related tasks in the company support system.
- Set up and deploy workstations, servers, networks, and printers.
- Help manage and deploy company cell phones, iPads, and other mobile devices.
- Manage inventory for workstations, laptops, and other IT assets in the company tracking system.
- Provide support for all Autodesk applications.
- Install and support all company standard software.
- Stay current with system information, changes, and updates.
- Must have the ability to take initiative and solve problems with limited direction.
- Ability to lead projects and teams as assigned and directed.
- Must have extreme attention to detail.
- Possess excellent customer service skills.
- Have good communication skills, both written and oral.
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in an IT-Related Field (preferred).
