Job Description
A Survey Project Manager in the Power Energy team leading large-scale renewable energy projects, overseeing survey operations, collaborating on project documentation, mentoring team members, and ensuring precision in data collection and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage survey operations for renewable energy and power projects.
- Collaborate with team to draft, review, and finalize plats, legal descriptions, and construction documents.
- Review data and refine deliverables using Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Direct and mentor survey crews, CAD technicians, and junior team members.
- Analyze records, easements, and title documents to ensure survey accuracy.
- Oversee layout, control, and data collection for solar and wind energy sites.
Requirements
- Professional Survey License (PLS), Surveyor in Training (SIT), or on track to obtain one.
- At least 8 years of experience in surveying, with proven experience in boundary resolution and large-scale energy or utility projects.
- Strong technical foundation in Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Construction Staking, GPS, Traversing, Leveling, and Legal Descriptions.
- Proficiency in Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate a crew and manage a project with confidence.
