This position involves leading survey teams, managing survey projects, and ensuring accurate survey data collection and review, while overseeing project budgets, schedules, and client relationships within a surveying and engineering firm.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate survey staff and technicians
Review and ensure accuracy of survey work and calculations
Prepare survey documents, legal descriptions, control sheets, and field work orders
Manage project budgets, schedules, and proposals
Maintain client relationships and assist in marketing and business development
Mentor and train survey staff and review completed survey products
Ensure quality control of survey deliverables and compliance with standards
Monitor project progress, costs, and billing, including scope and scope changes
Manage staff workload, conduct staff reviews, and address HR issues
Work in the field performing surveying tasks as needed
Requirements
Six to ten years of related experience and or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor's degree in Surveying from an accredited four-year college or university.
Valid driver’s license.
Licensed Land Surveyor.
