Job Description
This position involves leading survey teams, managing survey projects, and ensuring accurate survey data collection and review, while overseeing project budgets, schedules, and client relationships within a surveying and engineering firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate survey staff and technicians
- Review and ensure accuracy of survey work and calculations
- Prepare survey documents, legal descriptions, control sheets, and field work orders
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and proposals
- Maintain client relationships and assist in marketing and business development
- Mentor and train survey staff and review completed survey products
- Ensure quality control of survey deliverables and compliance with standards
- Monitor project progress, costs, and billing, including scope and scope changes
- Manage staff workload, conduct staff reviews, and address HR issues
- Work in the field performing surveying tasks as needed
Requirements
- Six to ten years of related experience and or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Licensed Land Surveyor.
