Job Description
The Survey Project Manager at Atwell, LLC is responsible for leading survey projects, managing teams, reviewing survey data, and utilizing industry software to deliver accurate site plans and construction documents across various development and energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing site plans and construction documents.
- Review project survey data using industry software and technology.
- Analyze existing site conditions and relevant legal and survey documents.
- Supervise survey crews, technicians, and office staff.
- Oversee large-scale ALTA surveys related to renewable energy projects.
- Provide construction-related services, including permit applications, quantity estimates, and transmittals.
- Organize and assemble site plans and construction documents.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to complete assignments.
- Mentor staff in training, career development, and professional growth.
Requirements
- Professional Survey License PLS, PSM
- 8 plus years of survey industry related work experience
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop a growing team
- Prior experience working with Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
- Advanced understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Construction Staking, Leveling, Traversing, GPS, Data Collections, Legal Descriptions, Plan interpretations, along with Real Estate Documents
