Job Description
The Survey Project Manager at Atwell, LLC is responsible for leading survey projects, managing teams, reviewing survey data, and ensuring the successful execution of site plans and construction documents across various land development and renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and collaborate with a team to draft, review, and finalize site plans and construction documents.
- Review project survey data using industry software and analyze site conditions and legal documents.
- Supervise survey crews, technicians, and office staff to ensure project completion.
- Oversee large-scale ALTA surveys related to solar and wind energy projects.
- Provide construction-related services, including permit applications, quantity estimates, and document organization.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to complete assignments within standards and budgets.
- Mentor and train staff, supporting professional development and career planning.
Requirements
- Professional Survey License PLS, PSM
- 8 plus years of survey industry related work experience
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop a growing team
- Prior experience working with Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
- Advanced understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Construction Staking, Leveling, Traversing, GPS, Data Collections, Legal Descriptions, Plan interpretations, along with Real Estate Documents
